Our association strongly believes in the European principles and values of active citizenship, equality, democracy, respect and civic engagement, including through the study and learning of languages. Our entire team is 100% involved and participates in our courses, sharing passions and interests.

I am the president of Lighthouse Languages, an expert in communication, marketing and events, also specialising in consultancy for public and private funding and most recently in cultural and tourism promotion. I coordinate and am responsible for all activities and customer relations. I am convinced that communication and public relations mixed with culture and beauty will save the world!

Alex Sikabonyi

I am Alexander Sikabonyi, I am fully bilingual and have a wealth of experience as a teacher of English for all age groups. I am experienced in preparing for Cambridge A2-C1 certifications and also available for conversation enhancement at university and professional level. I have been a teacher for the senior ranks of the Army, the Italian Air Force, as well as the managers of the Italian Tourist Board (Enit). I am a certified Cambridge Celta teacher.

Aurora Maccarri

Hello! My name is Aurora Maccarri, I am 25 years old and I live in Tuscania, in the province of Viterbo. I graduated from the ‘M. Buratti’ linguistic high school in Viterbo, focusing on English, French and Spanish. Subsequently, I continued my studies in this field at the University of Tuscia in Viterbo, specifically at the Department of Linguistic-Literary, Historical-Philosophical and Legal Studies (DISTU). In the three-year period 2016-2019, I obtained a Bachelor's degree in Modern Languages and Cultures; this was followed by a Master's degree, which qualifies me to teach, and in February 2022 I obtained a Master's degree in Languages and Cultures for International Communication. In my academic career I have favoured the study and in-depth study of Spanish and Russian languages and related literatures and historical periods. Since 2017, I have been giving tuition and homework help to children and young people of all ages, particularly in the aforementioned languages and humanities.

Dariya Sherpa

My name is Dariya Sherpa, I graduated in 2016 from the Fabio Besta Institute in Civita Castellana and I am currently finishing my Bachelor's degree in Modern Languages and Literature at the E-Campus Telematic University. I have always spoken the English language within the family context and have tried to improve it through experiences and studies in Italy but also abroad. I have a great passion for teaching, over the years I have been fortunate to put my knowledge into practice to transfer it within various contexts. Teaching has certainly helped me to improve or develop new skills such as communication. I put my all into every class or child I teach, always trying to meet the needs of the students by developing personalised courses because I strongly believe in the development of each individual person.

My name is Elena Paolini and I have a degree in Modern Languages and Cultures from the University of Tuscia. I specialise in English and French. I offer language courses and training courses to develop an effective and personalised study method. I love to transmit my passion for languages to children and young people in an innovative way, analysing every little need in detail, listening with my heart.

I have a degree in Archaeology and experience in the field of culture and tourism. In 2013 I supported various public and private bodies in the management of European projects and for years I have been working with Lighthouse Languages as a consultant in cultural issues for the drafting and management of projects at national and European level, carrying out work on funding monitoring, project writing, management of operational secretariats for project implementation, public relations and coordination between partners, translations and revisions of official documents and texts.

I'm Lucia and I've been cultivating my passion for foreign languages and cultures all my life; a passion that I consolidated in 2021 by graduating in Modern Languages and Cultures at the University of Tuscia, after also participating in two Erasmus+ programmes in the Netherlands. With eight years of experience in teaching English from pre-school to adult age, I listen and understand my students' needs with ease, helping them to learn or reinforce the foreign language with empathy, patience and transparency.

My name is Valentina and I have always loved studying languages. My mother is Finnish, so I have been speaking both Italian and Finnish since I was little. I studied at the Mariano Buratti language high school in Viterbo English, Spanish and German. In 2022, I graduated in ‘Modern Languages and Cultures’ at the University of Tuscia, where I continued studying English and German. I am now attending a degree course completely in English in ‘Tourism Strategy, Culture Heritage & Made in Italy’.
