The Lighthouse Meets The Beach project was implemented on Ventotene Island from 11 to 16 December 2023.

The main objectives of the initiative were to strengthen the participants' language skills through an Advanced English Language Course, designed to provide operational tools aimed at enhancing communication skills in an effective and versatile manner.

The teaching programme was structured to foster the integrated development of the four fundamental language skills (listening comprehension, reading, writing and oral production), ensuring progressive learning geared towards the practical use of the language in professional and social contexts.

In parallel, the project included the Europa Workshop and a cycle of guided tours, aimed at promoting active and aware European citizenship.

These initiatives, structured according to the principles of civic education and environmental sustainability, aimed at fostering critical reflection on the fundamental values of the European Union, encouraging active participation and intercultural dialogue.

The activities were designed to stimulate in participants a greater understanding of the contemporary European context, with a focus on socio-political and environmental dynamics.
