Erasmus Stories – Voices from Europe with Lighthouse Languages
Orte celebrates Erasmus Days 2025 among school, citizenship and music
On Friday, October 17, 2025, Orte will speak European.
The Lighthouse Languages Association, in collaboration with the Fabio Besta Institute of Orte, presents “Erasmus Stories – Voices from Europe,” a multivalent day to celebrate Erasmus Days 2025: an event officially recognized and published on the European portal, which you can find here (https://www.erasmusdays.eu/event/erasmus-stories-voci-dalleuropa-con-lighthouse-languages/).
Thanks to the invaluable support of the City of Orte and the Province of Viterbo, which granted the use of the municipal gymnasium, the city will become a crossroads of experiences, cultures and generations united by the values of the European Union for a day.
The day will open from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with an event dedicated to the students of the Fabio Besta Institute: testimonies of international mobility, workshops on the EU and direct stories from those who have lived the Erasmus experience firsthand. In the afternoon, the gymnasium will be transformed into a meeting place for the whole community: at 9:30 p.m. a talk open to citizens will kick off, aimed at young adults and all citizens, to explore the opportunities that the school and the association offer in bringing the territory to Europe and Europe to the territory. Closing the evening, from 10:30 p.m., a DJ set to celebrate together, amid music and conviviality, the energy and vitality of European identity.
“Celebrating Erasmus Days means remembering that Europe is not just a geographical place, but a space of shared growth,” explains Angelo Ciocchetti, president of Lighthouse Languages.
A day, then, to listen, compare and dance to the rhythm of the stories of Europe. Because every voice, every experience and every journey contribute to building a more open, supportive and aware future.
