The SEED Communities project aims to address the habits of communities and rethink them in a sustainable way from the bottom up, involving in particular older generations and hard-to-reach groups, while reflecting on the link between sustainability and human rights. The project is relevant in the context of promoting sustainable and inclusive practices in communities.
Through the implementation of two international meetings, one in Portugal and the other in Cyprus, whose themes are the intersection of European programmes promoting sustainable practices and social inclusion and bottom-up initiatives, it is intended to create an opportunity for the exchange of good practices and constructive dialogue.
Eight delegations from eight different European countries meet with the common objective of bringing back to their home communities the know-how and experiences of the communities put into practice by the other delegations.
